My old napa scan tool has a slow data stream rate and I was wondering am I missing some inportent data? It has a recording mode and every now and then I will see a degree of knock retard. Just a single degree (1* for one frame nothing on every other frame) mayby every other run. (17 psi 110 octane). Now as I am reviewing the data I was wondering if I am having knock retard other times and I am not seeing it (happening between frames). If the computer pulls some timing out, how long until it puts the timing back in? Also, on my knock counter values, is that the total knock count or just the total knock count for when the computer was sending data to the scan tool? I just recieved my turbolink in the mail but was wondering if the data stream rate was not faster then my old napa unit if the turbolink was going to be of any advantage.
