Radiator removal

Is there anythin specaill I need to know about removing the rad. I heard it isnt that bad and would like to tackle this one myself.

very easy job.. Remove the 4 bolts for the fan after you disconnect the fan power leads.. then remove the top rad support cover.. then remove the ic fan.. then remove the fan.. then remove the rad hoses and oil and trans lines.. then remove th erad.. 1/2 hout tops.

You do not need to remove the electric fan, just the studs that hold it at the top to the radiator cover plate.

why do I have to dissconnect the ic fan???

You are right, but I do it to make the job easier.. Nothing worse then bending up the fins on a new rad trying to squeeze it back in..

Im wrong.. I was thinking when ya remove the ic The fan won't have to come out..

Im doing this from memory.. Im male and Polish.. Not a good combo .. heh heh
