Trw pistons are tuff as hell, and a great bang for the buck, but they are a little on the heavy side, especially the pins, but they are a great entry level forged piston.
I run them. I had my rotating assembly balanced and everything worked out well. If your goals are for a mild street/strip engine like mine then they should work well. I used my stock crank and rods too. Supposed to be good for 600 hp.
do they have some numbers in the pin area on the side? if so, do you mind posting them? I want to know if the pistons from my engine were from poston. Thanks.
