I replaced the tps pigtail and map sensor pigtail,
vehicle ran a accel dfi before removed in 04' and placed big stuff 3 inplace,
now when going to replace pigtails in 2010, the 5V wire (gray) from tps is tapped into the ground side of map (black) wire, and my ground from the tps (black) is tapped into my 5V (gray) wire of map sensor. green wire from map sensor goes to OE harness, and for the blue wire on tps sensor also goes to OE harness.
When I put new wiring in now its like the map is diconnected, wont start and puffs mad black smoke... if I remove and run w/ wiring from OE harness, it idles but thats it..
the fuel map doesnt move from the lower figures if hooked up OE.
IF the jumpers are in place, the map readings are maxed out??
Im stumped, I had drew out a diagram and all so I didnt mess wiring up when redone? Its a habit I like to make notes....
found wiring pinned backwards from casperselectronics black an grey wire were switched, had removed pins and put in place the right way.... still no start.... figured map sensor smoked, placed new inplace and still nothing...
