hurst olds 442 transmission/drivetrain

There is a 442 by my house that is about an '86. Is the trans and the rearend the same (or similar)?
The guy is stripping the car for parts and if there the same I'll go grab them.

The rear end had 373 gears and it does not have the turbo valve body. They might be good for something though.

The rear end is an 8.5 inch big 10 though.

I'd grab that sucker!

I'll take it also. They have a VB, VERY ,VERY, close and would work well if needed. I personally would grab that trans asap. If you do pass on it let me know as I'm interested.
