Heres the Scoop..
Sometime early Friday morning, my friends '85 Monte Carlo was stolen from in front of his house in Aiea Heights...
The car was recovered at 1:30 Friday afternoon near the Aloun Farms pumpkin patch(old farrington highway near Kapolei), minus the 16" Corvette wheels and Brand new Comp T/A Radials.
Also missing from the car was the cheap Pioneer AM/FM/Cassette
(ripped up the dash)
Two brand new, heavy duty engine stands (in the boxes)
1 brand new pair of front coil springs (in the box)
1 pair brand new Monroe sensatrac front shocks (in the boxes)
2 jackstands
1 pair of new GM weatherstripping for the doors. (still in plastic wrap)
And a Detatchable backrest for his 2000 Harley Road Glide... (about 500 bucks)
The front and rear wheels do not match (they appear the same, but are different sizes and different detail colored) The idiots neglected to take the wheel spacers (mandatory if using them in anything other than 84-88 vettes, 93-02 camaro/firebird) so the wheels are effectively useless unless the person has a Vette or 4th gen f body.
The missing Items are believed to be in the waipahu/ewa-beach area...
