Let's say I have found a good running 4.1 with 80,000 miles in the original car and has never had a rebuild.
The body of the car is junk. The guy that has it knows nothing about what our community does with these motors. I still have to check the block to see witch block number it has and the motor is still in the car and I may see if he will let me pull it to save a few bucks. It is located about 250 miles from me also so there will be some traveling for me to do also. What do you guys think a fair price would be for something like this? I have not talked money with the seller yet. I see that people are selling the blocks alone for 250-300$. I am getting ready to turn up the wick on my 109 with an alky kit and would like to have a spare motor with a few more cubes if I could get it for a good price.
