Going Odd Fire

Bringing this back up. Heavily considering building a "dirtball" 3.0L with 100% factory cast off parts to get the hang of tuning and other variable before risking the rare 2.66in stroke crank. All 3.0L's are even fire so from a stand point of tuning or any other consideration, would what I'd learn on an even fire motor become drastically incorrect for an oddfire motor?

I'm running mechanical fuel injection, that's a modification off of Bosch K-Jetronic so it's a constant flow fuel injection system, just with more flexibility.

Thoughts?
