CNN reports he was escorted out of Iraq by US soldiers for drawing a picture of Iraq in the sand, and pointing out our troops positions.I just saw him on live so whats up?? Maybe its his double...wouldn't dobt he needs one. You'd think he's been doing this long enough to know better.

These news stations have to be held responsible for some of the stuff they say. As much of a tool as Jeraldo is, I hope he sues the hell out of them. That is a huge deffamation of character.

The only problem is I have been watching FNC since 11:30am - and Geraldo has not given any reports today. They haven't even mentioned him.

Maybe he is getting a slap on the wrist, but they will let him stay????

It is about time!!!! The dam media is basicly giving a S.A.L.U.T.E. report in real time to the dam enemy. It would be better if these media reports were 1 or 2 days behind for the security of the operations and safety of the troops. The only part that hasn't been given is location. But someone had to be made an example of. I am glad it was his dumb ass. Giving away location... MORON!!
He sure as hell cannot sue the Army!! We ought to sue him for endangering the lives of some of our troops.
Show our troops what Peter Arnett said and then embed him in a unit out there and see how long he lasts!!

I SAW HIM TODAY DOING A "LIVE" REPORT WITH SOME SOLDIERS IN IRAQ. HE MADE MENTION OF A REPORT THAT SAID HE WAS KICKED OUT OF IRAQ........AND BLAMED MEDIA JEALOUSY. I DIDN'T HEAR ANYTHING ON HIS ALLEDGED INFRACTION. WHAT WAS THE STORY AND ARE YOU SURE IT'S ACCURATE?

He was drawing a map in the sand in his report explaining direction of future troop movements and pointing out future troop locations. It was pretty detailed. He should be kicked out but I just heard it is under investigation. He is trying to make a good report but is doing it at the expense of our troops by giving details. He is a blithering idiot and has no business being there. He just proved that.

yea, opsec has gon out the door, why would the iraqis need thier communications when cnn has our troop movements on tv al day long, they should not be telling this stuff in real time, just reporting like what was said on a 24 hour delay, it is compromising out guys, and geraldo should be shot, just becasue .

I don't like geraldo much, but the reporter who really is a snake is peter arnett. I saw this break on fox last night and was dumbfounded. So I swithed the channel to cnn and msnbc to see if they would report on it. No they did'nt and it was'nt scrolled on the bottom of their sceen either. Woke up the smorning to find out he got fired by both national geographic and nbc. You may say that he worked for those two channels, and they did'nt want the bad press. Good reporting nbc.

amen. we spend all this time gathering military intelligence, and all the enemy has to do is tune in the US news and they're set. i think those news anchors are a little f***ed up anyway for wanting to be in the middle of all that.

I saw when he was drawing that map in the sand. I was thinking at the time it really was not a good idea and he must be an idiot to do that, then forgot about it. It is good to hear they did something about it.

Looks like he stays...

just watched him reporting saying so. He must have been pulled aside and gotten his hands slapped by the CO on the 101st, but allowed him to stay. I've heard he is very liberal and on the "pinkish side", but working for "FOX" and hearing him reporting now and in Afganistan, he sure sounds very right wing to me (my kind of guy) and incredibly supportive to our troops in his reporting, constantly reffering to the enemy as "thugs". hmm...

Now as for Peter:mad: , lost all my respect for him, even though he apologized for his comments. Talk about combinations... open your mouth, stick the foot in, BIG TIME ! Did he mess up or what, he'll be apologizing for years to come.

Pentagon is asking fox news to remove him for revealing information about troop operations.
The kind of support he gives our troops is better given in the rear. He currently has been giving support to the opposition because of his ignorance. He belongs in the newsroom on this one.

Once again I say use them to their potential. We need someone to scour those mine fields. (And give live reports)

"F" the news media. I get sick watching the crap CNN & MSNBC spew out 24/7. Kick them all out!

As far as Geraldo goes... can't we trade him for some of our POWs??? Or maybe we can let him do a live report ridding on a MOAB while it is being dropped on downtown Baghdad!

I'm surprised at all the "mapping" that ALL the news channels are doing! Eyerack is smaller than Texas, we got troops all over the place, and they're all headed for Baghdad! Why does the news insist on putting maps up all the time for the enemy to see?

Guess Geraldo felt a little left out & decided to draw his own map...now he's a LOT left out...dumass

Ive noticed that for several days now they keep publicizing "50 miles from Baghdad".

I bet they know 50 miles is the radius for the chem weapons.

They are probably MUCH closer.

But they know Saddam watches Fox News and the Clinton News Network to make battle plans.

So they give out information to make him think what they want.

Good battle strategy if you ask me!

Like this....

Saddam: "Phew - they are still fifty miles outside baghdad. Thank you Fox News. We still have a few days before they get here. I sure would like to add that Kiran Chetry or Jennifer Eccleston to my harem!"

Soldier: "Wonder what they are waiting for sir"

knock, knock, knock. US Marines Special Forces. Open up!
