New fuel pump and filter installed last year. Was just driving along and all was good. Layed into it after about an hour of driving and all of a sudden fuel psi was dropping to 25 as soon as boost would come up. I'm thinking regulator crapped out. It's about 15 years old. Any thoughts?

i would check the pump wiring as well. Pump may not be getting enough voltage.

Leaky pump connector @ the in tank hose?
As psi is increased, the leak starts. No boost, and there's enough fuel psi.

When you did away with the pulsator, did you use a hose rated for submersion? If not you probably have a hose problem.

Bill Anderson's shop replaced the pump, so everything should be good with that.

Make sure theres preload on the regulator. I had the exact same symptoms. Turn up the FP to 10 above minimum you can get from the regulator and see if that helps.
