After I installed the motor upon completion of the hybrid conversion, it spun a main bearing. I had the entire engine gone through again (different builder this time), align honed, decked and installed a brand new steel crank (paid almost $1,000.00 for the crank alone at the time). This is really an awesome project car, and is 85% ready to be on the road.

The car is in need of paint and some minor body work, the clear coat is peeling in a couple places, and the rear bumper cover is oxidized. It has a few very small hail dings, which can be removed by a paintless dent repair place. The rubber side moldings were faded, so I removed them, which exposed some minor surface rust on the passenger side. Again, nothing serious, but if you want the car to look good at five feet, it will take some professional paint work.

I have put countless hours, and entirely too much money into this project over the years. At least I can say, for the most part it was enjoyable. However, it is time to move on, and I need the garage space. I will not part this out, so please don't ask. The Ronals have been out of production for a long time, and they are literally perfect, without any blemishes. I am forgetting a bunch, I'm sure, so just ask if you have a question. pm or email is fine. I'm happy to give my phone number too, just ask. Thanks in advance!
