Engine Harness

Has anyone ever installed an entire engine wiring harness in their car ?
I think the problem is my screwed up ignition module solder job - its such a mess and the wires colours are so badly burnt that it's impossible to decifer them.

Thinking of buying a whole used harness and putting her in...
I'm interested in how do you access where the harness goes inot the firewall on the ECM side and the access where it goes in on the driver's side...???? That looks impossible.

Behind the inner fender

I have had my car torn completely apart far a while now but, when the body and frame were apart the front end was also removed. The harness goes into the fire wall down in the lower corner behind the inner fender. It's a pain to remove it and a lot of stuff needs to be taken off to get to it. If you have time and patientsyou can do it. I think there is one screw that holes a rubber boot to the fire wall and if you do this be parpared for lots of built up dirt behind the inner finder.
