Draining battery prob..

My parents have a 98 or so Grand Prix n/a. This winter, (buried under the snow), the car has developed a problem with draining the battery. Unfortunately, I'm overseas and can't help them fix it. I was wondering if anyone can point to a common prob with these cars draining batts. Fans coming on in the middle of the night?? Anything like that. My parents do have a radar detector plugged in that stays on all night, but I don't think that's the killer. They just put a new battery in a few weeks ago and this morning in trying to use the keyless entry, nobody was home... car was dead. I've already told my father to try an amp test, but I was wondering if anybody knew of a common prob...

i wish i could help you, but i have the same problem but in my 95 z28! i just got done putting heads and a cam in with a new battery, now it will not start under its own power! i always need to jump start it and can't figure out what the problem is!
