Dash trim plate removal!?

Can't anything be simple! I removed the glove box to get behind the dash, but it's almost impossible to remove the small plastic retaining nuts/caps the hold the pate in place without removing all the AC duct work first. Is this what I'm facing if I want to remove the trim plate???? Sure looks like it. %$##&*!@

Oh and do those plastic caps screw off or pull off?

Pry off. You will most likely break a few of the studs too.

I got mine off with a pry bar on the WE4, it wasn't going back on five of my gauges are there.

For a GN or Limited with the fancy placque I would be careful...er.
