Biggie Oil Filter Install

I removed my oil filter and realized I don't have the correct socket to remove the stock "nut" from the oil filter adapter. Does anyone know what size socket I need?

Thanks dude! Simple piece of info but it helps a lot. I have that problem where I need to take the filter off to see what size it is, but then I need to put the filter and oil back in so I can go to the store to get the socket.

GNZero,

my original GM threaded adapter was indeed 1-1/8", but the replacement Biggie adapter was an even 1".

better check, you may need two sockets.
