Any recommendations for add-ons for a S&W .40?

I have a S&W .40. The barrel isn't threaded, so doesn't look like even if your state allows you to purchase a "tax stamp" for a suppressor/silencer, that isn't an option... or am I incorrect?

Mine is a full size. Anywho, anyone have this gun? Curios what you've added. (lights, etc.)

Google image... don't feel like running upstairs and getting it out for a photo shoot.

Not on a SW, but my 40 cal Glock 27 has a Laserguard laser on it. Only issue is, it was a search to find a holster to fit it.
If I were to do it again, I'd use the Lasergrip model laser.

Google threaded barrel for your gun.All kinds out there.Thats the best I can do for you.

A little pricey at $220ish... but that indeed works! Thanks - I don't recall seeing that many options back in the day when I got it. Even reading the reviews, people said it took for ever for it to be in stock, so buy when they pop up.

I have the same gun in 9mm. It had a crimson trace laser handgrip when I got it but removed it. I like my firearms simple. The laser is for sale if you are interested.

El Corvino, I can't send pictures through PMs so here they are. The lasers retail for $340. I let this one go for $225 shipped

I would put a tlr2 light/laser combo on the s&w. The laser max is junk. We had them on our duty guns for about two years and they were inaccurate and turned on most times when putting in and out of holster. I have always liked tactical lights like the tlr1 and tlr2. Most shootings happen in low light situations and from a distance of 3 to 12 feet away. Regarding sites I lise the xs big dot sights.

How bout a pair of TruGlo tritium fiber optic day/night sights for a faster and more accurate sight picture? Even with the beam, I still plan on installing a pair on my Sig.
I love my sig 1911 carry two tone with match barrel and trigger. Right out of the box I shot 3 out of 4 shots in about one hole from 21 feet. Have never done that with any stock hand gun.
