Thats what I daily drive lol. I haven't looked into it much I guess the supercharged 3800 isnt hard to swap in.

There's already a thread on the board about a Century that has been modified. So a little looking around and you should find it. Very cool build and it's turbo powered 3.8.:)

Shouldn't be an issue but you might take a look at some of the FWD boards. Fiero had the same engine so you might take a look on one of those boards and see what you find.:)

If you want a substantial power increase you can easily swap in a 3400 which is rated at 175 horses.
Next big jump that is really popular with the N body (Grand Am and Alero) guys is the non variable valve timing (RPO code LX9) 3500 V6 out of a Malibu or G6. Those things are rated at 200 horse power and are a huge improvement over the 160 horse 3100 in your car.
The 3400 is pretty much a bolt in swap. The 3500 requires changing somethings relating to the engine sensors and tone ring for the crank sensor and the throttle body.
Good forums are http://www.gaownersclub.com/forum/?

All of the above sites have a lot of guys with proven performance mods for the GM 60 degree V6
GM was planning a supercharged version of the 3400 in the 99-04 Grand AM GT called an SCT. They were using a M62 Eaton supercharger.
There were a bunch of kits made and some have made their way into the main stream.

the century is the same body as a regal gs , buy a wrecked regal gs or gtp parts/donor car and swap the sc 3800 into it - they are stupid easy to mod , headers , pulley , tune will put you low to mid 13's ,add an intercooler & rockers would be solid 12's as would cam and e85.. a few sc cars running 11's , turbo/intercool if you want faster than that , 8.6 @159 is the quickest stock block/ rotating assembly 3800 s2

or you could turbo the 3100 I have seen post with people doing it with great results but its not as durable as the 3800 nor is there as many enthusiasts to help you figure out the best combo as there are for 3800 powered w bodies
