87 regal 307 questions

im almost positive i know the answer but just double checking. i found a 87 regal that has the 307 in it. is a 307 the same block as a chevy 305 or 350? not i do not mean the internals, what i am asking is does it bolt up the same? reason im asking is i have a 84 gn that i need parts off of well i found a 87 regal and my father is building a rat rod project and is looking for a sbc. so im trying to see if buying the car for parts if he can use the engine.

No it is an Olds motor, totally different.

The motor mount up the same (motor mounts) the trans has to be a bop (it will bolt up to all blocks).On the bright side sbc cheaper to build.

307 Olds

I believe a Olds 350 or 455 should bolt in with little trouble using th Olds 307 motor mounts
