1967 Chevelle Malibu Project Drag Car
No Post Car
Vin # 3 136177G108XXXX
One owner on Title, I am the second owner. / Mileage on Title – 10,550 / Original Body Mileage Unknown

I have owned this car since 1995. I just recently found the title from the previous owner and transferred it into my name (Lost it when I bought the car). I got the car with a 283 Small block/Power glide Trans and in all stock condition. The suspension was shot. The trunk was rotted out, and so was some of the floor inside. I stripped the car down and threw out all the garbage, which was most of the car. I sold the motor and trans. Threw out the fenders, hood, most of the interior, and brake lines. I sanded, primed, and painted the front end from the firewall back. Completely stripped everything down to metal on the Radiator Support, A-arms, and All reusable front-end components. Then primed and painted. I installed Polygraphite bushings on everything. Brand new Wilwood Dynalite Racing Front disc brakes with 4-piston calipers and S.S. braided brake lines. The Rotors are safety wired to the aluminum Hubs with machined screw on center caps. Brand new Drag Front springs and 90/10 – 3 way adjustable shocks. All new tie rods and ball joints with new hardware. Steering center link is original and in good shape. Stock Front Sway Bar with all new hardware and Poly bushings. Rebuilt Manual Steering box from a 78 Malibu. A new correct short pitman arm. Need the proper steering knuckle (connects steering box to the column), but its connected temporarily. I found a Steering column from a wrecked 67 Chevelle with floor shifter, so the column is smooth with no shifter on it. The Floor pans were cut out where needed and replaced. They are just tacked in place securely (Tack weld every inch). The truck was cut out and replaced (also just tacked in place) with the installation of Mini Tubs to the frame rail (aprox. 13 ½ inch’s clearance). The Quarter panels were cut off and new ones are tacked on. 6-point cage installed. New rear springs and Monroe gas shocks. The Door Jams are in good shape. The rear window support steel is rotted and needs to be fixed. All the side windows are in tact and working. The Windshield is cracked. Back window is in good shape, but not installed. A 10 Bolt Posi Rear is in the car now. The Door Hinges are in good shape. The previous owner undercoated the car, so everything that wasn’t cut out still has undercoating on it. The frame looks solid and is in good shape. That’s about were I left it. I have collected many parts over the past 10 years for the car and they will be listed below………
