04 Denali A/C help

Compressor won't kick on. I checked both fuses and seem OK. Also the A/C controls won't dim with the interior light dimmer switch anymore, they stay really bright the whole time. Blower and heat works. Any ideas? Thanks!

have you hooked a guage to it yet, may just be low on freon. If so it will not kick on. If the pressure is good I would look at the low pressure switch that screws into the dryer being bad, you can just it to see if the comp kicks on then or not to see if that is you problem but check the pressure FIRST. If you have good freon level then unplug the pressure switch and jumper it. If the compressor engages and you have AC...then the switch is bad. They are about 70 bucks if I remember.
