    Looking for performance parts

Not trying to discredit them, but talking with professional engine builders (ever hear of Livernois Motorsports?), that is too high of a ratio, even for boosted engines.

    Looking for performance parts

Holy crap, that E/I ratio is a little much, don't ya think? 92%?

    Low Boost Help

Belt slip shouldn't reduce boost that much, unless the belt was very loose. But that is a possibility. I assume you have supporting mods for that small of a pulley?

    Low Boost Help

Check to make sure your boost bypass valve is not unplugged, or checked for frayed/broken wires. When that is unplugged, the PCM will only allow ~4 psi.

3800 type II coil pack set up. MSD #s ect.

Just to clarify, you are looking for coil packs for the 3800 Series II? It came on some 95 models, but mostly 96-04. You can get a good set of low mileage coil packs from Ed Morad (www.moradpartscompany.com).

    Low Coolant light

It's pretty common for dex-cool sludge to build up on the sensor. All you probably have to do is remove it, clean it, and reinstall. I would personally drain some coolant first, in order to avoid a mess. As stated, it is a few inches below the rad cap.

    Pulley Swap?

I hope you meant 1.9 rockers. Stock is 1.6. ;) BTW, I'm shooting for 475 crank hp this weekend. :D

    Pulley Swap?

Correct. Getting a reprogrammed PCM would help, but not totally necessary.

    Pulley Swap?

Autolite 605's are a range colder, and 104's are 2 ranges colder. The 605's should be good. 300 HP, I assume you mean crank HP. You might think about getting some higher ratio rockers as well. Check ZZPerformance's site, they have a few options.

What year was first for the Series II 3800SC

The digital gauges are fairly accurate, although they take too long to update. Have fun! :D

    complete supercharger assembly

No, they can't just be bolted on, for a few reasons. 1. Injector bosses on the N/A are in the intake, while the bosses in the SC are in the heads. 2. The engine wiring harnasses are different. 3. The N/A is higher compression, so a larger SC pulley would need to be run in order to avoid...

    Pulley Swap?

Most will drop from the stock 3.8" pulley down to a 3.4" pulley. However, before doing that, it is recommended to open up the exhaust a little (3" downpipe mainly) and run some colder plugs.

Yep, huge problem with NAPA. Try here: www.wbodystore.com

What year was first for the Series II 3800SC

Not too sure on all of the differences. The blower on the Series I is a little smaller, but I'm not sure you would be able to tell the difference without seeing them next to each other. I'm not familiar with the Series I, so I can't help with all of the differences.

What year was first for the Series II 3800SC

I'm pretty sure it was 95. But to be sure, just open the hood and look at the engine cover. ;)

Well, then come join the friendly Regal GS board (geared toward the 97-current Regals, which is the same as the GP). No activation required. ;) www.regalgs.org

    Running Rough Help!!!

Sorry, I can't be of much help on the Series I. On the Series II, that is right where the fuel pressure should be (~40-42psi at idle). I will fluctuate with changes in MAP values. The fuel pressure drop you're talking about is if you have the vac line disconnected (and plugged), it should...

    Newbee questions 98 GTP

Trans leaks are definitely not common on these cars. It could be a number of things, but I would probably suspect one of the 2 half shaft seals. You are going to need to get under there and take a look. Most likely it is the SC coupler. The bearings do go bad every once in a while, but not...

    Harmonic Balancer problems

Well, that doesn't make much sense to me. The balancers going bad on these engines is very uncommon. Is it possible that the end of the crank is bad (bent, scored, etc.)? What is happening when the balancer goes out?

    Engine swap?

Actually, better to answer that would be to check out www.l67swap.com.
