I painted mine with SEM trim black about 2 years ago, still looks good. We buy it by the gallon at work and spray through a real paint gun. I find this gives MUCH better and long lasting results compared to the spray bomb they sell.

When doing a high quality paint job i like to use the slowest reducer possible. most manufactures have different reducers for different temps. I also try to get the booth a little cooler than normal, even paint at night if its to hot during the day. Also using a high quality HVLP gun does help...

Well up here in Canada my Dad's 85 white T-Type apprasied for $14,500, it's in good condition will around 60,000KM. Going to get my 85 GN apprasied soon, should be intersteing to see if there is a difference. Trust me I know apprasiasls don't mean squat but it gives a little something to base...
