Bought a complete 1985 Hydroboost System, am installing it today on my 87 GN. It appears the high pressure hose from the HB to the power steering pump is not gonna fit at the pump correctly. Does the 85 use a different pump vs the 87?

Have early version Champion aluminum heads, been running long reach Champion plugs. Just noticed the AC plugs I used on another engine are short reach. Anyone know which is correct for these heads? Ignition breaking up when accelerating hard.

Have read where resistance across coil towers should be 11-12.5, mine is 17.2-17.4. Should this be a problem? Car is popping under boost.

Overall, engine runs OK, but when you first press the acelerator (hot or cold)it seems as though it isn't getting gas, therefore stumbles, then revs up as normal. Also misses a little while driving but not all the time, sometimes seems like its gonna cut off. The ignition module tested OK...

Can anyone suggest where I can find Felpro 1200 gaskets?

Just took a 109 in on trade, has a wiped cam, mains have spun. Even the side of the thrust bearing main cap is worn as is the crankshaft. Should I trash it or is it worth building? Don't want to spend more than it can be sold for. I don't need an extra engine.

Does it matter which terminal the wires are attached to on the oil pressure sending unit?

Right now only boosting 17-18lbs., so alky not necessary but discovered alky is not exiting the tank. Indicator lights comes on when boosting, also when testing w/switch. Disconnected wiring to pump, pump runs when straight wired to battery. Suggestion's anyone on how to troubleshoot Razors...

Car has been running great, no recent changes, but now when accelerating hard it will backfire loudly under the hood. At night you can see what looks like fire coming from the air intake. Ideas anyone?

Any home remedy's out there for testing the calibration of a boost gauge. According to my MAP sensor boost is 22 lbs., gauge shows 17 lbs. This is not the factory gauge, is aftermarket on the pillar.

TV adjustment has no effect on 200R4 trans. shift points. Always shifts early unless manually shifted. Also, on normal acceleration trans. shift from 3rd to 4th is so soft you can't tell when it shifts. Shifts great at full throttle. Ideas anyone?

Have a nice 99 Cherokee 4X4 in need of an engine. Also have a 52/k mile 3.8 turbo engine needing a home. So, why not a lighter vehicle with turbo power and 4X4? Problem is-because I want to keep the 4X4, which trans. would be the smartest choice?
