I need all the opinions I can get on replacement front speakers

thats cool. i guess i am kind of an audio elitist. i like to have the best of the best within financial means. i guess to each their own, if it makes you happy then that is what is most important right?

I need all the opinions I can get on replacement front speakers

I understand that the trend is going with smaller drivers because they save space..however...in your post you made the comment "I guess then Bose and various other manufacturers who make those small satellite speakers dont sound good either"? with kind of a sarcastic twist. My simple answer...

I need all the opinions I can get on replacement front speakers

Ummmm, nothing personal but those Bose home speakers ARE crap and really only for the "unknowing" enthusiasts. Go to any GOOD home audio store and the Bose systems are entry level. My KEF's at home make ANY Bose speaker sound like garbage...Although for some people 13.0 is "plenty" fast in the...

Thanks for the advice guys. I am definitely going alky injection and probably the 44 turbo. I think the stock location intercooler would be better for me personally.

    Running mid-low 12's reliably...

Very good point I guess my main concern since I will be driving it most of the time around the city and not on the track is that I have a 12 sec street car. What I get at the track really doesn't concern me so much. Both of my former F-Body's were mid-low 12 sec cars and I wanted to have the...

Okay so nix the cam. I meant to put a ScanMaster on that list..oops! Hmm, thats interesting about the ignition. I figured it would be worthwhile on a "high octane" turbo car. But I will try it with just the Buick DIS to start. As far as hooking, I completely agree. I have owned both a 96...

    Running mid-low 12's reliably...

Yeah I think the Alky way will be a lot better than race gas. Mainly because it is a lot cheaper for a daily driver than race gas. It seems the SMC kit is more to my liking because of the in-car control. Adjustability of the pump, adjustable boost trigger, and a light indicating when the...

Where can I read about Alky-injection? How many different kits are out there? What are most favored?

care to elaborate Trent or are you referring to your sig? Looks like the best way to go for street, pump gas, 12's is a different turbo. It seems like a lot of people go stock motor/heads/intercooler with an upgraded turbo and cam. That may be an alternative for me. I do want to keep it...

    Running mid-low 12's reliably...

So salvage are you saying its not reasonable to build a mid 12 sec GN/Regal that runs on 93 pump gas? You guys are the pros so I am all ears. Tell me what this combo would net me: stock modified turbo, stock intercooler, good pump gas chip, good cam, headwork, fuel pump, Duttweiler neck...

Great ideas guys except one thing...I don't want to use race gas. 93 Octane and thats it

very nice website... Anyone have a combo they particularly favor to get into the mid-12's? Also, I tried to find a website on Duttweiler parts and couldn't find one...anyone have a link?

Hey guys I have been lurking here for awhile now and decided to become a member today. I have either a 87 GN or Regal T-Type in my near future and had a couple basic questions. First off I tried to search and couldn't find what I needed. I need to know what I will need to do...
