FS: Simmons FR series 17" wheels...

Dropping the shipping charges, so pricing these at $1995.00 shipped. Also, as several people have asked, the Baer 13" brakes front and Baer 12" rear brake systems will fit these wheels. Used the templates provided by Baer to measure, so not a problem. Thanks

    Thermostat housing retainer bolt?

Seems I have a stripped out thermostat housing retainer bolt hole in my intake. Can anyone provide me of the exact size of that bolt? Going to try either a longer bolt of the same size or have to helicoil it I think. Any helpful info is appreciated, thx

Looking at New Trucks - need input/help

Uhh, they tested a 6spd vs. and automatic? Like testing apples and oranges. Don't know why they would not test an automatic vs. and automatic or vice versa. The NV5600 6 spd is not a racing tranny and shifts very bulky and slow because it's a VERY HEAVY DUTY tranny. It's not meant for 0-60...

Looking at New Trucks - need input/help

Hmm, not sure where you heard this. The NV5600 is far stronger than the NV4500. If a truck that is used for towing/hauling is what you want, then the Dodge Cummins/NV5600 is gonna be your best/strongest/most reliable combo. Not a better combo in a light duty pickup truck. Just my opinion...

    Truck Advice

No offense taken. Just relaying my experiences with both trucks. Maybe I drove a Duramax that was a lemon, but the one I drove felt very sluggish compared to the Cummins. From research I have done, seems that most agree the Cummins somewhat better than the Duramax when it comes to towing. I...

    Truck Advice

That's pretty funny to me. Tell you what, put a Duramax and a Cummins with 8-10k behind them side by side. Take them both up a steep grade of mountains, you will see who lags so pitifully behind. On the transmission, HA, you can't even get a Duramax unless its an automatic. The NV5600 6 spd...
