Need opinions on swapping out my hydroboost with conventional vac assist. I saw the tech tip & the swap looks fairly simple but does it work?:confused:

I have an 84 GN with 30# green stripe injectors, Walbro 340 w/hotwire kit, & Poston's 207/207 cam in an otherwise fresh stock .030 over motor. No other mods. It fires OK but bogs @ WOT & surges at constant city speeds. It's curently throwing 13 & 45 codes & smells like it's running rich - a lot...
