Is there anything special about that Turbo? Trying to understand the pricing.

Take this with a grain of salt, but lets assume the sensor can read faster than the stock one. Just because it can, doesn't mean that our 40 year old ECU can take advantage of that. Maybe if you also replaced the computer with something from the last 15 yeas maybe you might notice a difference.

Since you have already replaced the crank sensor..... It might be time to try to get your hands on another ECU. Borrow one to at least rule this out. After 40 years, these things do go bad, and would certainly explain the no start.

10 year old thread, but I have the same question..... Anyone make the Molded seat foam for the back of a Regal or any G-body ? I checked Classic Industries and all I can find there is a Generic foam pad....not molded like the original.

The Ebay page lists this as for 86 and 87. Will it work on Hot Air cars too??

Vent line is on Yes. But even if not, wouldn't it just vent to air rather than to the canister ?? How do I check for Open?

I recently dropped the gas tank to replace a dead fuel pump. The new pump is working fine, and the car runs good. However I've discovered that its still very difficult to fill the tank. The gas has to be put in very slowly or the pump kicks off, or it splatter back out of the filler hole...

My hydroboost unit is leaking. I guess it needs to be removed from the car and get the internal seals, o-rings, and/or gaskets replaced. I checked Rockauto and also Rodney's website, and could not find anything listed. Does anyone have a source and part numbers for what I need to fix up the...

Should the brake pedal in the hydroboost cars be firm, as in any other kind of car? My pedal is spongy under hard stops. Wondering if this is normal, or might I have some air in my system? Thanks

thank you for the follow up. That looks like a good solution. This may help someone else. However I was able to repair and reuse my damaged ones. I should be able to get a few more years out of them.

Since its not a BR, so how does it shift compared to a stock GN transmission? Looks pretty dirty too, doesn't this guy in DesMoines clean up the stuff first before he rebuilds?

I got new window guides from gbodyparts, but when I was drilling the rivets out of the old one, I jacked up the 'bushing' that goes behind the guide and thru the glass. Does anyone have a source for these bushings? New or Used?? Thanks

I've been doing some searching and as you guys pointed out it seems that my height is quite a bit lower than most others measure. I wonder if the prior owner put on lowering springs??? I can't imagine stockers would loose that might height just from being old. Is there any way to figure out...
