This is great info. So, one question. How confident should I be that this will fix this? I've had the tank down before, but only attempted to clean. Is this a pretty sure thing? Gauge does work now, just not correctly and slowly. Thanks.

I have an '87 GN. The gas gauge is extremely slow to respond, and does not register accurately. I assume that is the sending unit in the tank. I believe I've seen someone who offers a new sending unit attached to a new pump. Does anyone know if I can just get the sending unit? Thanks.

I have an adjustable fuel pressure regulator from Kenne Belle. It needs a new O ring. Didn't the factory regulator use an O ring? Parts houses don't seem to know what I'm talking about. Does anyone have a part #, or am I going to have to "find" an O ring to fit. Thanks.
