Looking for TTA downpipe and engine harness

Better late than never answer... Vendor Nick Micale @Arizona GN has the downpipe. He can most likely steer you in the right direction for the harness as well. Member 'Grumpy' has a bunch of TTA odds and ends for sale currently- might check him out too. Good luck with your searches!

    TTA heads lifting?

HOLY SHIT brother... I just watched the video. Nice run! But the part that REALLY gets me is the END of the track seems VERY close to the trap- perhaps it's an illusion, but that track requires a ride like yours to have some HD stopping power to match what you have beneath the bonnet. Definitely...

Powerlogger, Scanmaster-G, ALDLDroid, and Pressure sensor

Hate to re-hash an older post... But this is AWESOME!! I would like to set it up for FP also- I like to monitor EVERYTHING if I can. Makes diagnostics a snap(and I always am chasing gremlins of some sort). Thank you Turbo6inKY

Scanmaster and Powerlogger 2.2 36# blue top injectors

    How much is the Powerlogger?

    got an android tablet

Pretty sure it(ALDL Droid) only comes in 'Android' form. As far as compatibility with the other involved components(ScanmasterG and PLogger, etc) Mr. Bailey would have the answers to your questions. I will say ALDL Droid does a great job at bridging the gap AND aalso can act as a custom...

Need help with IDing camshaft- Have a part #(I think?)

Thanks Earl. I agree and even agree more it isn't what I need. I don't want/need astronomical HP #s to be happy, I just want to be fairly reliable and PDQ, but do it on the downlow.

Need help with IDing camshaft- Have a part #(I think?)

Seems like my best course of action to take is to call the shop I bought it and be certain the #'s I have are the indeed the same #'s as I was given the first time. He did say he had a 'build card' for it he had to have the secratary/wife locate in the office. That would be ideal on all levels...

Need help with IDing camshaft- Have a part #(I think?)

Forgot to mention the crank. Forged but not sure details. Fast wise, I have no set 'goal'. I just kinda planned on going as fast as it would take me(if that makes sense). I am SO doing this all on a shoestring budget LOL. I would be quite content with mid-upper 10's BUT I need it to be able to...

Need help with IDing camshaft- Have a part #(I think?)

Guess I should add... Rest of the engine consists of B & B'ed rotating assembly, Jasons girdle and scraper, forged eagle rods, Ross forged pistons, ARP studs/bolts holding mains, rods and heads on. I am forgetting several things, just can't recall everything. Oh, the heads appear to be nicely...

Need help with IDing camshaft- Have a part #(I think?)

Thanks guys for the input- like I said initially, it is my first Buick v6 so I am trying to put things into perspective. This is also my first experience with a roller. Seems these cams can bank up fast to open and also drop off at a steep rate to close quickly if I am comprehending it properly...

Need help with IDing camshaft- Have a part #(I think?)

Thanks a bunch Neal. I knew that I was bound to find an answer here! This is my first Turbo Buick so it has been a slow process(actually sometimes more like learning Chinese). In any case, that seems like a somewhat 'hairy' cam. At least I have a good solid starting point to go from and should...

Need help with IDing camshaft- Have a part #(I think?)

I recently aquired what has turned out to be a somewhat mysterious bundle of engine. I have looked up the part # using Google(and got my expected result- no viable answer). I don't care to waste y'alls valuble time so I was hesitant posting this... but I need specs before I take my project any...

1985 Hot air converted to Intercooled

I really should've been a little more clear with what I meant by 'defiling' your HA car. I think(and it's just MY opinion) if you have a really sweet example of a 1985, in very nice original, or even almost original condition car, you may do better to just sell the 85 and find an 86 or 87. I...

    1st time head replacement

You are certainly not the only one that has been 'forced' to do your own work, for whatever the reason may be. It sucks when you're not into it and sometimes it seems you can run into more and more problems as the layers are peeled off. I am somewhat in the same situation to maybe a little...

    1st time head replacement

After having a career as a 'Tree Surgeon' for way too long(at least I am 'temporarily semi-retired' at this point LOL), I found that just about any 'SAE 30 Bar 'n Chain' lube for chainsaws works FANTAStIC making a Hi-tack universal lube when mixed about 50/50 with WD40 or similar. It 'hold on'...

1985 Hot air converted to Intercooled

In retrospect, I'd have to agree with 65psiboost. I have an 85' that has the 'guts' out of an 87'... I bought the car this way, but to me it just doesn't make much sense to do the swap UNLESS one had a wrecked/rotted out intercooled just sitting around. I got a pretty good deal on mine although...

    WTB: Powerboost system/parts

Hey 63a... I may have some parts for you that came along with my TR when I bought it. That being said, I'll have to dig around the shop and locate what exactly I have. Another path you may want to research(if you haven't already) is the brakes on the Astro van are similar if I remember...
