Bucket Seat Recliner Lever Latch Hinge Bracket LH (Driver's side)

I'm in need of a 1978-1987 Grand National Front Bucket Seat Recliner Lever Latch Hinge Bracket LH (Driver's side). I believe 83-88 Monte Carlo SS had the same hinge. Anyone? Beuller? Jamie

MAF cutting out? (powerlogger file inc)

Eric (turbotweak) explained it on his forums. The computer uses 255 to do it's calculations, but the powerlogger reading shows actual. I hadn't noticed that. Strange that I have a new AC/Delco alternator and hotwire to the pump. No reason at all for the voltage to be low, esp at higher rpm...

MAF cutting out? (powerlogger file inc)

That's what I thought, but I'm not sure it means what I think it means. Here is a screenshot so folks don't have to load the log just to see it. I'm sure it's something with my car, the TT chip has been great so far.

MAF cutting out? (powerlogger file inc)

I posted this on the Turbotweak forum too, but wonder if any of you might have input. 87, stock except for 42lb injectors, K&N, FP @ 43psi static, 14lb boost, on 93. The MAF jumps from 255 to 225 constantly in PE mode. I thought the chip tricked the computer into seeing 255 no matter what. I'm...

    Latest "biggie" oil filter options.

Thanks for the responses fellas. After being unable to find one of the RJC Racing listed filters for the biggie adapter, I went with a Purolator PL25288. It's not a biggie filter by any stretch, closer to the old AC/Delco PF52, but it has the anti-drainback, it works/fits, and I can get them at...

    Latest "biggie" oil filter options.

The standard filter size on the 231 is 18mm x 1.5. The "biggie" oil filter adapter, as sold by RJC, is 13/16 x 16, like the big engines. You're right, just missed that I have the biggie adapter on mine.

    Latest "biggie" oil filter options.

I went to several local retail parts stores yesterday looking for a filter that fits the RJC Biggie adapter. No one within 100 miles carries anything that RJC lists as compatible. Finally I looked up 70 Buick GS 455 and a Purolator PL25288 (premium) and L25288 is listed that all the local...

Charles Lewis? Had a hot air car in Huntsville?

Remembered a name from way back today, Charles Lewis. Older gentleman, really nice guy, had a beautiful Hot air GN that would haul butt at the track. Anybody know him or if he's still around the North Alabamam area? I say in here that he won at the 2005 Nats... Regal Modified winner Charles...

    Valvespring Change Info/How-To Video

No problem with critique. I wasn't trying to be all-inclusive, just help out a bit. Def take whatever advice you can get from whoever will give it! 1) Interesting on the retainers. I used the stock ones and they seemed to work fine. I've not heard about needing to replace them before. Are you...

    Valvespring Change Info/How-To Video

Maybe for you that is most important, and for a precision rebuild I'm sure it is, but I'm not doing a high end rebuild here. I bought name brand valvesprings to replace 150,000mi originals on an unworked head. They'll be close enough, and definitely better than the old ones. Thanks for the...

    Valvespring Change Info/How-To Video

I go over some details about changing valvesprings and intake valve seals on my 87 Turbo-T. I also show how to make a home made compressor tool with junkyard parts. It's not perfect, but hopefully this will save somebody some time/headache when changing valvesprings. I would appreciate any...

180000 mile engine with 160psi compression?

I def don't plan to open her up. I just expected much lower compression just from ring wear on such a HIGH mileage engine. I assume it has been re-ringed recently...

180000 mile engine with 160psi compression?

I partially tore down my engine this weekend to change the oil pump, water pump, timing gear and gaskets. Before I got too far I checked compression, just so I could go ahead and do the head gaskets or a rebuild if needed while I'm there. One a supposed 180k mile engine, each cylinder was...
