I just changed the tubing/lines on the Wastegate/boost solenoid and noticed that I have an extra nipple on the Wastegate solenoid that was not used previously. Is there supposed to be something there? I included a picture below. Thanks

I had my new ta49 turbo installed yesterday on my turbo trans am and my installer told me I should probably replace the hoses on the wastegate hose assembly (pictured below) as well since they were showing their ago. I thought about simply replacing the unit but have had a hard time finding it...
