Given the situation, he couldn't be in a better hospital. I was at Barrow/St. Joseph's after I fell and crushed c11 and c12. One of the finest neuro hospitals in the world.
I don't know about 178 mph, but they will do 170 mph (indicated).

Tried to find it on Google Earth. Looks to be across the street from the "50's Diner" at 1121 Oak Avenue. Unfortunately, Google Earth doesn't provide high definition service for Spruce Pine, but it looks like the lot across the street is empty. Pull up 1121 Oak Avenue in Spruce Pine and see...
Crazy, but the Challenger weighs a little bit more than my 300C SRT-8. Cold air intake, Flowmaster exhaust and 2800 Pro-Torque converter. My car has run 13.1 to 13.2. With my 110 pound grandson driving, it's run 13.0's.
Sig .40
I bought a Factory Rebuilt Sig .40 and haven't had a bit of trouble with it. I sold my Glock .45 as the recoil was such a PITA it wasn't fun to shoot. The .40 is a nice compromise. The 9MM is a little light for home defense.
I miss that car (no. 6). This one is close to stock. 49 turbo, blue tops and V4. He has never (I know this for fact) raced the car. Not even once down the strip. I imagine high 11's, low 12's car. No. 2 had that combination and that's what it ran.
I bought a 300C SRT-8 in February and never looked back. What a great car. As far as size..it takes up no more room in my garage than the GN I used to have parked there. The car hauls ass. Ran 13.1's at 108 right out of the box.
