I have an '84. It has KB headers and no cat. It seems to run lean- you whack the throttle in Park and it hesitates. Throttle response is so-so. If it hard a carb, I would know where to head. 38#'s of fuel pressure, unplugged, at idle. I don't have thousands invested in scanning...

My car ('84) ran fine, then started to not take any throttle, then it would barely idle, now it won't even start. I've unplugged the MAF, no difference. I checked the codes and got a "13". I replaced the oxygen sensor. It will try to start, and sometimes lights, but only for a 1/2 second...

OK, so exactly how do I check fuel pressure? I unplug the vacuum line to the fp regulator, then what? screw a gauge onto the fitting at the front of the fuel rail? thank you.
