What if the converter is a triple disk lu carbon fiber clutch with billet cover built for lu @ 650rwhp? Will the lock up function run quicker times at the track locking top of 2nd?
Nick, can you share cam specs on this motor (or give a run down of all parts) that run 9.80's with 18psi? I building a similar motor, 109, 3.625", billet centers, gn1's, 6765, ta headers. Have not choose cam yet but want to go hyd roller 212 or 218.
Fuel fire and air, start with the basics.
Is the idle control valve hooked up, have you held throttle open to make sure air is getting in, pull the plugs, if the injectors are firing they may be wet or smell of fuel, unhook the maf. Thats what I have for now.
I would spend that $$ on 6265 turbo, 60# injectors, pump/wire kit, alky, converter, tuning, tire package. Use the rest $$ to take your girlfriend out for a steak diner ;)
Always aim center mass. Never shoot to wound, shoot to kill. If you would have hit the guy and he survived it's possible he could have come back and sued you, maybe even owned a grand national when it was overo_O
It is a f1 65 I have. I dont want to buy the comp turbo if it will not bolt up and was hoping I'd get lucky here. I'm going to call comp and speak with tech.
bison, I do not have the tool to measure my f165 wheel, do you know the specs I will need when I call comp to see how close it is to...
Please let me no when you buy more parts for your car especially a built transmisiion:)
I am no sheepeole, I build v6 because no one else does. When I cross the line first it makes everything worth it.
22k here
I had the same problem. It was running to rich and the spark gap was to much at .035. Now I run 22psi on stock turbo but upgrading to a bigger turbo and weber stroker motor. Should be fun going from 325rwhp to 650rwhp lol.
Sorry about your mom. I lost my mother and father 2 days apart, it was very hard on me and my sister. That is a neat head stone, but I would prefer to be buried in my car:)
