I just acquired an old Toshiba laptop to use with my Direct scan. After connecting to the ecm it appears that I need the adapter that is mentioned on the DS website. Does anyone know where I can get one of those? Is it just an adapter that changes the pinout of the cable? Could one be made?

I am replacing the front bumper on my '86 GN and the original grill filler was missing. I have one from a donor bumper but I don't know what color it is supposed to be. The replacement is silver but I don't think that would look right on the GN. Any help appreciated.
