I dont know what the problem is but ive bought 2 different transmission shift cables a doorman and one from autozone both dont fit or im doing something wrong???? Any one else had a similiar problem????

Im doing a 87 conversion on my 84 on the engine harness where it goes into the fuse block there are plugs that almost look like relay plugs? Is there relays needed other then the passenger side ones?
