MCSS governor bought from CK Perf, less than 500 miles on it

Still needing to sell this. It is on ebay if anyone would rather go that route but is more expensive. I would think somebody out there would like to raise their shift points.

Getting out of the car hobby, 2004R stuff has to go, ideal for trans builder

Ok, as the title says I'm laying down this hobby for awhile. I have a grip of 2004r small parts that might interest a small transmission builder or shop. I would like to sell this as a lot for $65 shipped in the continental 48 states. 2 - .500 boost valves, one sonnax & one transgo 4 -...

I've got a CR valve body with a MCSS governor and mine wants to shift around 4900 WOT. What do I need to make it shift higher, say 5800-6000? What is the 3/2 control valve mod that is referred to?

Need a transmission, any good performance 2004R builders in AZ?

Also, he would consider a used unit as long as it is in good condition and was built accordingly to begin with. No stock used units in other words. He doesn't mind parting with his grand for the right transmission. He just hasn't had good luck in the past with automatics and doesn't want to...

Need a transmission, any good performance 2004R builders in AZ?

When I said no core, I was meaning that he doesn't want to have to pay to send a core back to someplace out of state. He already has a KC trans in the car. It already has a billet servo, Transgo shift kit and GN governor. All of these parts were installed into KC trans in a 75K mile 1986 307...

Need a transmission, any good performance 2004R builders in AZ?

My friend needs a new 2004R to replace his worn out unit. He would like to find a builder in the Phoenix area that is experienced with making the 2004R perform correctly and be durable. Any recommedations? He would also consider buying out of state as long as it fits into his budget, but...

Does the MCSS gov have 1 or 2 springs?

You can convert this thing? I thought it was beyond help. Is it cost effective to convert?

Does the MCSS gov have 1 or 2 springs?

Well, I'll be calling him soon enough for the 3rd corrector kit. I think the reason that I noticed the 3rd shift so much today is that I finally had fourth gear and convertor lock up as well. It was the only thing I could find to complain about. It has been a long road of figuring out what...

Does the MCSS gov have 1 or 2 springs?

Bison - By issues are you referring to the 2-3 shift quality? CK's plate is the one that corrects 3rd gear issues, right? After driving the car today, I know that I need something to fix the 2-3 shift. Funny thing is that with the MCSS gov the 2-3 shift was really good.
