    Anybody Got A Turbonetics Racegate Set Up And How Do You Like It???

    I have had mine for about 15 years and am thinking about a THDP.Some guys have told me that the Racegate hurts the spooling of the Turbo.Nobody seems to know for sure if the Turbo spools the same or slower with a Racegate style set up.Anybody know here:confused:

    Well I have 28 Inch tall BFG Drag Radials which gets it close to that 3.42 Gear ratio.The Racegate is probably 15 years old but does not leak.I just think that the stock style set up would help with spool up.

    I have 28 Inch tall BFG Drag Radial's with a 3.73 Gear.Whats the difference between the single disc and 5 disc VIG?? Also is your 3225 Turbo bigger then a TE-44 Turbo?? I had the car out a few days ago when it was 15 degree's out and these car's feel stronger in colder weather.

    For me Id rather have the traction so Im a little wary of going to a 3200 converter now.I just think my restalled 2800 or 3000 Stall D5 does not give it the pep of say a stock Turbo Regal.

    It certainly would be cheaper then buying new injector's for sure.I should have never have put the 3.73 Gear in because I have to run 28 Inch tall tires with Air Bags.

    Im trying to get my car running as smoothly as possible.Sometimes off Idle it feels like my car is going to stall out.It drives ok but I can tell it runs rich down low.Would I be better off with 50 or 60 lb injector's or just a Chip from Turbotweak??

    Maybe my CNC ported Race Heads and matching intake takes away some of the low end power.I have a very good Intercooler.I do have a Racegate setup that I have wanted to get rid of for a THDP.I heard that the Turbo would spool faster with the THDP.
