I got a turbo hood off craigslist. It doesnt have the pop up spring on it. Just the brackets and prop rods on the side. I looked at my dads monte. His has tabs to put the spring in. Mine doesnt.mine is just smooth. How does the stock hood have that pop up spring attatched? I cant find many pics.

Hey Chuck! Been a long time. lol Yes it is solid mounted. Yes the turbo mount is welded to the frame. Then I used the monkey fab flange bolted to the mount. I have plenty of room for the tire it looks like. This is with it cranked all the way to the left.
