Thanks. I was just laying under the car and noticed that the front bolts weren't backed out. Loosened them up and with a little help from a transmission jack the tank went right in. Had to pry the straps a bit at the back, but got the bolts in no problem. Thank god that is over with. Hope...

Just wondering if there is an easy way to get tank straps up in place by myself. Just replaced the gas tank with a new one, and not having any luck with the straps. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Chris

No it isn't factory. The car has had a total repaint, the finish was real good on it untill the previous owner parked it outside with tarps on it. Got a bunch of scuff marks on it, could wet sand and buff them out. Being a bodyman/painter by trade I think I will just strip it and paint it. I...

It sounds like the little pins aren't lining up right. Take bulb out an rotate the bottom 180 deg. I can't remember if those bulbs have the staggered pins or straight across pins. Look in the plug to see the grooves for the pins. As for your drivers side being dim, I would look for a ground...

That regulator looks identical to the one that I have on my T. The one I have is from Holley, the only difference is mine is still aluminum and hasn't been painted black yet.
