Hey I used the info about using materials from Johann's Fabric store to replace my original T-TOP headliner tonight and it looks great. The grey headliner available at the store is a bit lighter grey but I used it and the #77 spray adhesive from 3M. Thanks for the info. Cost about 20 bucks total.

Got the vicegrips to work. Bolt in and torqued to 219 or so. Got everything back together except for my crossover pipe. I'll do a seach but how do you prime the pump with out a tool for the pump shaft?

Excuse my ignorance but what is the difference? I ordered Edelbrock set #7829. The 0's are both at the top due to the engine being at 0 degrees on exhaust stroke. Had to rotate the cam just a bit to get the holes aligned.

OK. Have the timing gears and chain on and aligned. Now just worried about the stock cover possibly rubbing the double roller. Is there really a difference in the RTV colors for this job? I have black and copper.

Have all parts now finish. I put the new chain set on and now looks like the cam is off a bit. Looks like it needs a slight clockwise turn to line up. I have my dots aligned and it appears that I'm on the exhaust stroke rather than compression judging by my pics before removal. Any tips on...
