I like the Cometics myself, but as stated earlier, there is a better chance of blowing/breaking something else before blowing the stacked shims apart. If you want a safety valve go with the Felpro 9441PT or OEM...can't go wrong with any of the above.

Where is the SG1 block casting located? Is it possible to see this casting while the motor is in the car?? Inquiring minds want to know. TIA
