Don't know if this will help, but I run the 255/60R15 size on the street with stock '87 rims with no issues.

Gotta put the word out about this guy... I bought some interior pieces from him--dash, bezels, etc--and not only did he drive hundreds of miles out of his way to bring the parts directly to me, but even delayed his departure to search through his inventory to find more items I was needing...
