    Power Master Guru...

I have a used powermaster unit that I removed many years ago, It has the pressure switch and accumulator. I sold the GN many years ago and have no use for this. I am willing to part with it all for a reasonable price that the buyer pays for shipping from Virginia.

    Grand National Powermaster

Depending on how I approach the sale (whole unit or part it out), I will get back to you.

    Grand National Powermaster

I will part it out. I also know the value in the separate parts. If the unit itself is worth 150, then sold. I will sell the pressure switch, accumulator and firewall mount for what they can bring. I can toss the unit in the trash and save the buyer a lot of money in shipping. I am not...

    Grand National Powermaster

I suppose the only answer left is to toss it in the trash. Thanks for the comments........

    Grand National Powermaster

Thanks for the offer but, as stated, I no longer have the GN. Credits will do me no good.

    Grand National Powermaster

I am selling a used powermaster unit that I removed form my previously owned 1987 Buick Grand National. It worked great, I removed it to install an upgraded vacuum system. I cannot guarantee the current condition since this was removed several years ago. I am selling this as-is. Included is...

Pardon my stupididty, but....what is this part?

I am sorry to have to ask this question, but I also don't want to end up more stupid for not asking. I just put my motor back together after a blown head gasket and found this in the garage. I don't remember where it came from, relatively certain it was from the alternator/AC/power steering...

    Found a connector??

I guess I don't understand that one. Are you saying that, upon failure of the fuel pump relay, that an oil sending unit plugged into this connector (not sensing oil pressure) will provide a circuit back to the fuel pump? I'm not the sharpest crayon in the box, but this one slipped by me...

    Found a connector??

I am replacing head gaskets and found a loose connector, one that seems to have not been connected for a long time. It is a round connector with three female slots in the shape of | _ | The wires going to it are pink w/black stripe, yellow and gray. The wires run down the front of the...

    Passenger side mirror adjustment

I tried searching the forum but couldn't find an answer. I had my car painted and putting it back together. While I had it in pieces, I was able to lube up the three cables to the right mirror and now it operates as smooth as silk, what a difference. The problem I am having is that the...

    Paint Shops Northern Virginia?

I am in Northern Virginia and looking to have my 87 GN painted. I will be removing as many parts as possible to save on the labor, my $$ and the shop's time. Is anyone out there familiar with a good shop to deal with? Not looking for show quality, it will be a driven car, but want...

False knock, or so it seems???

Shane, I was just reviewing some old posts and saw this one from you. Yes, I am running just fine with regular gas. I recently adjusted the car to pass emissions and have some hotter heat range plugs in, which is causing an audible and measurable ping to the engine. I don't get false...

Running Rich, fixing it one piece at a time

My Thoughts I appreciate all of your advice. I have also done a lot of research on the forum and web and have come up with what I think is the best approach, but looking for anyone's input on where I may be going wrong. Goals: 1. Having a respectable street machine. 2. Protect the...

Injector Numbers I took two numbers off of an injector: 1612 01D0308 (kinda tough to read that small but looks very close to this) They also have a blue stripe around the tops. Thanks Andy

Plug Pics Yes, I did pass and great thanks to those that assisted. It is much easier to move forward now that the monkey is off my back. Here is a picture of the plugs. Hindsight would have told me to mark which cylinder they came out of and I would know which one caused the black plug...
