Nevermind I found it. They go up toward the bolthead if anybody was wondering.

I`ve read countless threads on the head bolts but did not see one about the washers. On one side there is a inner bevel, which way do they go toward the bolt head or toward the engine head? The instuctions that came with them dont mention anything about this.

Thanks for the info fellas, when I took the heads off the motor and I seen all that space between the piston and the cylinder walls I got a little nervous, going to freshen up this motor had 180,000 + miles on it, oily and greasy as hell this motor leaked almost everywhere, but it ran real...
