    how much heat differance

Give Dave Husek a call. I'm using his 3021 (it's spragless, if that's a term...) and I drive it on the street all the time and it does weekend track duty. I love it. I live in hilly country, so that makes a difference in street driving and revs compared to great plains highway stuff. So you...

What did I miss? Why are all the avatars round now?

Any reviews of Revolution-X torque converters from Full Throttle?

I have Dave Husek's 3021 in my car along with his rebuild (since this past September). I can't compare apples to apples on the total difference as I went from a manual transbrake to no Tbrake and a PTC 9.5 to Dave's spec'd 3021. The transbrake/PTC 9.5 version (which I've had for about 5 years)...

    GN-1 70mm Throttle Body

It definitely bolts up to the stock doghouse. I had it on one during the mockup before switching to a Hemco. And SStealth is correct. You'll need to bore out the doghouse inlet.

Meet up and ride and drive?

Dude, I saw pics of that great looking motor months ago! What's taking so long? :)

    GN-1 70mm Throttle Body

Consider it practically new. Mocked up on project motor, run on a stand, but no miles. Matching doghouse is already sold, so just the TB and a gasket. $199 + UPS Ground from 98226 + 3% if PayPal.

Wanted - Terry Houston stainless downpipe

Still looking for one? I still have my original TH pipe from around 1990 in great condition. It was JetHot coated, so not stainless. But, being JetHot coated, it's still in great shape. Car only has 35,000 miles on it and I went to an external WG/3.5" DP.

    Dave Huseks 3021 Torque Converter

I have Dave's 3021 in my car along with his rebuild (this past September). I live in the farthest NW part of the country and I shipped it to him through Fastenal. If you don't hit their truck transfer stations just right, it takes a little longer than expected. But, Dave's build is well worth...

good bang for the buck harness?

My G-Force belts expired and I like the idea of switching to RCI. The number you posted is for a "pull-down lap belt". I don't recall having to make that choice when I bought the G-Force belts, but I assume we're pull-down? Thanks!

    Cut-Off Switch Wiring

Hey I appreciate the help! Still a bit puzzled, though. The schematic John sent indicates an "F" terminal on the alternator is to be used (I had that schematic already). But, my GN shop manual shows 4 terminals on the back of the alternator with only one being used; brown wire marked as "L"...

    Cut-Off Switch Wiring

Thanks! That sounds plausible. I'll give it a shot.

    Cut-Off Switch Wiring

I could use a little advice on wiring up a cut-off switch in conjunction with Casper's "volt booster" for the fuel pump. I got tech'd out at the track last Friday as my cut-off switch didn't shut the car off (first time in 8 years they checked it). It certainly wouldn't start again, but the...

    problem after 70mm tb install

Bump. I'm interested in this adjustment as well. I just installed a 70mm Accufab TB and I've gotten some bad 2-3 shifts (flashes to 6000+RPM when manually trying to shift at 5500). I never heard of having to adjust the TV spring (opening up the trans) when installing the TB. I do notice I...

Race Gas North of Arlington, WA

Mission Raceway in B. C. stopped selling race gas. Anybody know where I can pick up C16 north of Arlington? I live in Bellingham so Mission is close for some fun, but my setup requires C16 or it's head gasket time. I usually just buy 7 to 10 gals at a time that I put in fuel jugs, so I don't...

    Pypes exhaust for the TR...

So, the Kirban/Pypes system drones? I'm looking into a new system now as I have Flowmaster 10S (dual 2.5") and can't hear myself think through the severe drone. I swear it's louder inside than outside and just plain punishing. I like the looks and idea of the GN-1 3" dual stainless system...

    lets discuss 200r4 trans brakes

I've had the CK brake for years and it's a great, cheap way to get a transbrake setup. I installed it myself. Very simple. I launch at 22lbs and off the Tbrake it's like getting hit from behind by a freight train. Yes, there's lots of monkey motion while staging after the burnout as I use a...

    Powerlogger computer stand

Hah! I should know that. Just about everyone under 40 that looks at my car says "nice Monte Carlo"... Might be time to put the badges back on.
