    Whats new in head gaskets?

    while cleaning the block and heads on a 85 HA rebuild i noticed some blow by on the upper compression rings on cylinder 3 and 4. i was using fel-pro head gaskets with ARP studs. The deck and heads are straight. what are you guys using for head gaskets?

    thanks for cam card, I couldn't find mine. I completed the tear down and found #6 connecting rod bearing damaged, crank looks like it can be polished or cut. I was also surprised to find 14 of the 20 girdle to block bolts sheared off. Looks like some bolt extraction is in my future.
