    66 nova Hybrid

Why the AOD? I had the stock GN engine with the 200R4 in it the late 90's, and I went through some of the problems many Buick owners had. Len from Lentech Automatics (who specializes in AOD's) approached me to put an AOD in my car in exchange for some custom adapter plates. Hot Rod...

    1963 chevy II

Hey turbo6man, It's nice to see the progress on your car. I think you did the right thing by getting rid of the old front clip and doing it right. It's something that I'm thinking of doing now, after-the-fact, when I should have done it right away. I was trying to keep my car in the "stock...

    Non slip flooring options?

I'm just about to do my floor with the Aqua-Tuff water based epoxy in the next week or so. http://www.noskidding.com/ns_02.htm We'll see how it works out. Apparently good with brakefluid and other harsh chems. Priced reasonably enough for me.

VPE Flow #'s on Stock Intake vs Ported Stock Intake

Interesting reading... I've been running ported production heads with roller valvetrain on a 109 block with flow numbers below at 28 in vacuum; lift intake exhaust .300 156 115 .400 174 134 .500 175 141 unported, my stock heads hit the wall at 151 on the intake as well. At 27-28lbs...

    Pics of My TTV6 Junk

Thanks for the info John. My motor is basically a TSM motor with production heads, so your comment has got me to thinking... I'll probably get some GN-1's for next season and maye the distributor route is the way to go. Aside from the notes by Ken and Joe, I'd appreciate any other notes...

    Pics of My TTV6 Junk

I've noticed this "trend" to use distributors at higher power levels. I think the GM sponsored Ecotech Cavalier changed over to a distributor as well as others. How does the distributor make more power than the DIS?

    Pics of My TTV6 Junk

John, Why the distributor? Is there a reason you're not going with DIS, given the long dwell and charge times? Chris

    66 Nova hybrid w/ videos

It was a Dart blocked, aluminum headed, Vortech blower Mustang coupe. He ran 10.1 @ 138. It was a real race... 400 pro tree and all. They came over to see my car after and couldn't believe that I'm using production heads, block, etc! Chris
