I love the "big and littles" on stock wheels. What size are the front and rear tires?

    Late '80's/Early '90's 5.0

Exactly. I too lived through those times (I had an 86 T-Type back in ’86), and with the average driver, stock for stock, what I saw at the track were pretty much 14.30’s to 14.90’s in and around the mid 90’s for mph for all those various cars on the average. The Mustang guys who could launch...

    Late '80's/Early '90's 5.0

Back in 1987 I had a buddy whose 87 GN ran fairly consistent 14.0's at 98 mph bone stock (and I know it was bone stock as he bought it brand new and could barely afford the car payments, nevermind afford any performance parts for it :)). Also had a buddy back then with an 88 LX hatchback 5 speed...

    GPS Navigation Units.....

Wow, gotta love the internet for window shopping and filling your head with all kinds of crazy ideas. I started out looking at the Garmin and Tom Tom sites, then slid on over to EBay to do some searching, bounced over to Google, followed a few more links, and now what started out as looking for...

    GPS Navigation Units.....

My main thing was screen size. I'm thinking that I don't want to spend much more than $500, so I know it's not going to a big screen, but I thought the Tom Tom One screen seemed an ok size. I also like the 3-D kind of display vs. the 2-D. Plug and play would be nice too, don't really want to...

    GPS Navigation Units.....

Thanks for the replies guys. I checked out Garmin's website before, and they have a lot of different units, so much that I honestly couldn't easily figure out what one was most appropriate for what I was looking for. They seemed a little high on price too. What Garmin models have you all used?

    GPS Navigation Units.....

.....Who has one (not counting a factory installed unit)? I'm thinking about buying one, probably the "Tom Tom ONE" unit. Has anyone used this, or other units? How do you like them? Also, some units have mp3 capability, picture viewing, and other options, not sure I need that, but if the...

New best ET with stock 87 T-type

I just looked back over your post, I missed the hot and humid weather comment, you're right, that's tough weather to race these cars in. First time out with mine when it was basically just a "chip and filter" car it ran 101 mph in 95* summer heat, and it went 103-104 mph when I went back in late...

    Nicest Turbobuick on the Block!

This was a stupid, but mildly entertaining thread. Funny thing is that we've pretty much established that it's not his car, and my guess is that it's probably not a picture of himself. He's probably isn't even black. He's just some retard starting "shizzle"......

New best ET with stock 87 T-type

Congrats, good runs, although I think the MPH looks a tad low. I remember back in the day when these cars were new, most folks saw anywhere from 95 to 99 mph on the average. Chip and filter cars saw around 101-102 mph back then in my neck of the woods (I still have videos of these cars making...

Engine lost prime while sitting. Why?

I have run into this also, after the car sat for about 7 months. Good question asked, why would this happen?? The car has oil, the pump gears spin, the pick up should suck up oil and start pumping it. What the problem :(?

Few new pics of the Brickmobile and my dad's silver car..

It was kinda cool when I had the Rally's on. I had 235/60-15's on them, so they looked kinda 'meaty', but still looked like most every other NA 6 cylinder Regal on the road. Couple that with most people only recognized the GN as the bad a$$ Buick on the road, and it was lots of fun watching...

Few new pics of the Brickmobile and my dad's silver car..

Ok, at second look, mine's not *exactly* like yours, I don't have cornering lamps, LOL. Post up some pics when you get the Convo Pros on. I had started a thread about pics of T's with chrome trim and the various wheel/tire combos they had on them a little while back and I'd love to see what...

Few new pics of the Brickmobile and my dad's silver car..

Schweeeet......time 2! Nice cars. BTW, My 87 T looks exactly like yours, it's gray with chrome trim and tinted windows too. At one time or another I've had the stock T wheels on it, Weld Superlites, and 15 x 7 chrome Buick Ralleys on it.
