Door speakers are going to be a PITA if you are bolting them into the door itself. The "topography" of the door where the factory put 5 1/4"s is all screwy - you cannot just mount a speaker to it. Those little baskets are the key if you want a factory style installation - they are made to bolt...

Aftermarket Coil packs - MSD and ACCEL make Type II replacement coils, but NADA for the magnavox style coil packs. Same thing on the CCCI. The Buick vendors do have higher output coil packs - Caspers for sure - maybe Full Throttle too..?? I am currently running the MSD DIS-4 and TR...

That's the exception, not the rule.. (in my experience, anyway) a complete driveline can run upwards of $3k. You got a smokin deal...!

The OTHER problem with the aftermarket control modules - the Casper's CCCI tester doesn't work with them.. only the GM modules. John mentioned it would take a lot of development / engineering resources to make the testers function with all the off the shelf control modules these days, &...
